Hi Guys
My first pic post (hooray!).
Just received a 24-85 'G' lens and have found it disappointingly soft on my new S2. Compared to an older 28-85, it is a poor second, and in comparison to a beaten-up and mangled 1974 F2 50mm prime it just plain sucks!
Have I been unlucky with a second-rate example, or is this normal for this supposedly highly regarded optic?!
Strange that I get an orange cast with my old manual lenses, but they are at least sharp!
All shots at 50mm, F11, tripod'd and 100% crops, by the way!
