Hope this is ok to post....
Argos, (in the UK) are currently selling the Epson 895 @ £89 (half normal price).
This is only in the sale so be quick if you are interested....
I have an 2100p now and planned to use this for all (apart from when i get the Sony Dye Sub out).
I had an Epson C70 for all other work, text/cd covers etc... (i write and burn my own music)
Yesterday the ink ran out :( looked on the sites, and replacement ink for the C70 runs to between £50/60+ :eek:
I then checked out the ink replacements for the 895
Black around £10
Colour the same... (5colour cartridge)... and this is price for replacement, not compatables...
The 895 is not the best now, but is USB offers paper roll facility and prints to the edge... it also has direct card feed as well.
So have bought the 895 for everyday use... will probably use it as well for prints from my wife "Sally" little 2Mp camera.
IMHO when you consider the replacem,ent ink prices, quite a bargain.
Just one point, this printer is USB only, so make sure you have/buy a USB cable as well if you plan to buy one.
