Hi-
If I could design a high capacity rechargeable lithium ion battery pack would anyone be interested? My first guess is it would be 4500ma. Only for the AA portion.

I'd be interested if battery heat and voltage were proven to be non-issues. I'm no expert on batteries, but from reading I've learned that LI battery voltages start quite a bit higher than Alkaline/NiMH/NiCad and they produce significantly more heat during discharge.
But I'd love to have a high-capacity, rechargable LI battery pack if it would work out ok. :)

Are you talking about a replacement for the AA battery tray in the S2?

Ray,
If it poses no unacceptable heat issues, I think it would be safe to say there a lot of people that would want one... and my name will be near the top of the list for several. How about one for the MB-16 also?

Are you talking about internal or external battery packs?
I made my own external battery packs using standard battery holders of different sizes. Modern Ni-MH batteries have high capacities at low prices.
