Lens information needed

I have a lot of difficulty finding any information on a Nikon lens. this lens is being offered to me by a friend and i like to find out if it is compatible with S2.
also any information regarding price, capability is greatly appreciated.

Lens is : Nikon AF MACRO NIKKOR 60mm 1:2.8D L37c 62mm

I have that lens and have used it a lot. Top notch lens. Sharp, contrasty, no distortion or flare problems etc. solid optics.

a MINT 60mm AFD nikon goes for about $300 used on ebay.
