The stream seemed pretty far from this mill (at least its current position), but this old grist mill seemed like a good candidate for B&W.

Nice Bob. Have you tried cropping out the clouds upper right? Just a suggestion.

Thanks, Mike -
Actually, I like the clouds all the way to the right - I think they give a sense of depth to the sky. I do think, though, that I should have cloned out those little smudges of cloud just to their left.

If it were mine I'd keep those and clone out the ones that slam into the right margin.

I also like the clouds in the upper right corner, they keep me in the pic. I would really like for them to be more to the left, fill up more of that sky, but hey. I'll take what I can get.

I think I would too if they were more like the pattern on the left. I think they're a little too linear, too vertical slammed against the margin. Otherwise a fine pic.

"I'll take what I can get."
That's what I did. These clouds started where you see them and continued as a "slab" all the way to the horizon. But had I included more of the right side of the scene, I'd have picked up the debris, a couple of rusted out cars, and the highway. Maybe an interesting shot, but I wanted to concentrate on the mill.
