forbidden lenses

Did you ever try to use lenses or rings listed on 19 p. manual?
I just check very callously forbidden ring K1. I don’t see how it can damage camera? Ring don’t rich contacts!

It is not the contacts you want to worry about bur the mirror hitting the lense mount when the mirror swings open.

Reverse ring dont have any lenses.

Thanks for replying, but we may be talking about different things.
I'm referring to old F lenses that came with the Nikon F2 in the early 80s and late seventies. The have a protruding ring that may hit the mirror as it swings.

Yes, with lenses it makes sense, but my question is:
What is wrong with PK-1, PK-11, K1, K2, BR-2, and BR-4?
