Has anyone encountered flash card compatibilty problems with he S2 Pro? I just purchased a new S2 pro, already owned a SimpleTech 1 gig card and it will not work in the S2. I di test this card previously in a Nikon 10D and it worked fine . I formatted the card in my computer, in the camera, checked the proper card usage in the camera menu, nogo. What's up with this? I called Fuji and they claim you need to use a micro drive!! Evey one on this forum seems to think otherwise. I would like to hear from anyone experiencing the same or similar problems. Thanks

Fuji apparently designed the S2 around the microdrive (that's what a Fuji tech support manager once told me) so they tend to push that storage media.
You can check this site to see what CF cards work in the S2:

I personally take my S2 to the camera shop and try out the CF cards there. If it doesn't work, I don't buy it.

I had the same problem. It all depends on the controller they use inside the compact flash card. I called the tech support at simpletech and they asked me to read off the serial number on it. I had 2 1GB and one had Hitachi controller and another one had Samsung controller. It turned out that Hitachi is more forgiving in S2 pro. Both cards worked fine on D100.
I had to return one of them....
