Hi Gang,
I am looking to purchase Really Right Stuff or Kirk Plates (or equivalent) for my Fuji S2 and AF-S 80-200/2.8D -- either the standard plates or "L" bracket plates.
Please post here or contact me: roel at openknowledgecorp dot com

I have some Favorite Searches in eBay that automatically email me if someone starts an auction with RRS, KIRK, ARCA, etc. in the auction name. I see a several of each every week, but I have never seen the plates for the S2 come thru (searching for a couple of months). I think any one who as recently bought one is not ready to give one up yet.
I bought the RRS S2 camera plate from RRS, along with a generic L converter and a plate for my 80-200. The RRS catalog says they will have an S2 L plate by Fall of 2003, but they still don't have one, and I read somewhere in these forums that someone said RRS abandoned the project.

I am not holding my breath for a used S2 L plate - Kirk is the only one that makes them at present. Maybe after the long rumoured S3 appears on the market we might see some of the used Kirk L plates for sale when people start selling their S2's to upgrade.
There is a place:

that makes generic plates for about $24 each. On another site, some people spoke quite highly of them. I may check it out....
