I am selling a slightly used Kaidan Quick Pan III twin axis configuration Panoramic Head system w/ optional quit tilt leveling base. I purchased it in september for a specific project i was hired for and havent used it much after that. I used my Fuji S2 pro w/ a Nikon 20mm afd lens to create very nice panoramas. (using the 14 click indexing ring) like this one:
(this one is only a 3 shot pano though)

Condition of the base is excellent ++ , the bracket has some normal wear that occurs when mounting the camera and tightening the knobs and screw + some thin lines that indicated where i should mount the fuji.
The system includes:
(1) the Kaidan quick pan III rotator base in optional (stronger) stainless steel w/ three interchangeable indexing rings (6,12 and 14 click stops).
(1) A twin axis bracket that allows the use of most any type of Digital/35mm SLR camera and also compact point and shoot cameras. I used my Fuji S2 pro w/ 20mm lens, Canon S30 and Nikon FM2 on the pano head with great results.
(1) Also included is the kaidan quick tilt leveling base thats required for quick setups.
Once the bracket is calibrated for your camera and lens its quite easy and fast to setup anywhere and shoot a 360 deg panormic with identical image overlap time after time. Its really a joy to use. Its a precision tool for profesional results and its built to last. Its also modular so everything can be taken apart and cleaned / replaced. You can also purchase other available accesories from kaidan like different indexing rings (for changing overlap) or brackets.
New, the whole system cost me $630 + shipping. Direct from Kaidan. Their service is excellent and they anwsered all my emails and questions quickly.
