View Full Version : Grrr - LCD is WAY too hot...

This is driving me nuts. I am compensating for it, but it is basically making me guess exposure (which is OK as the S2 is real close to my old Nikon N90S exposure so it is not spoiling my shots much). This has to be bad for those not used to film cameras.

I have the LCD brightness down to the lowest setting and it is still way hot. Any ideas on ways to manage this.

Oh, and last issue - I can't rely on the histogram because I use the camera underwater and simply don't have access to that function as the camera is inside a housing. Sorry...

Any thoughts appreciated,

Marriard

Hi Marriard,
I feel I have a similar LCD issue here. I e-mailed Fuji UK for advice but got no reply, so I'm just having to get used to the idea that anything brigher than 85% (in Photoshop color picker terms) is going to be pure white on the LCD. Sorry I cannot offer anything possitive on this one.
Marvo.

I'll post some details of my setup later. It works real well, but I need to get this LCD issue out of the way before I go assignment for two weeks...
