Hey Fello Fuji S2 owners,
Here's a bit of news regarding a soon to be published guidebook on our luvable Fuji S2 by Tom Hogan that I thought you all should know.
I recently spoke with the S2 Product Manager at the photo show in New York regarding Tom Hogan's forthcoming book for the S2. I told her that Tom apparently has a note on his website about publishing an electronic guide for the camera thats supposed to be available for like about $30.00 this month. Tom mentions further on his web site that he has made a deal with Fuji to provide copies of the book to USA registered owners of the S2.
The Fuji product manager confirmed this to me and said that the book would indeed be free and mailed to registered owners. She also said that it would be necessary to request the book from Fuji (your serial number is required) either at the Fuji website or by way of a form that Fuji will be providing to all its dealers in the USA.
Thus far, since last Saturday , I have not seen any further references to this offer on Fuji's web site or at my local camera store but I figured that you all would wanna know about this offer which apparently is in the works for us or at least I hope it still is. It looks like a very nice guide and Tom writes some very good ones (his Nikon camera guides and Flash guides are excellant).
