FinePixViewer & Raw Converter EX problems

OK, I stumped. I have installed FinePixViewer / Raw Con EX for OS 9 and can't get them to work together. FinePix opens fine but the EX and LE icons are grayed out so that I cannot process the raw images. I open EX by double clicking on the ap and the entire window is grayed out! Tell me I'm doing something that is easily corrected-please.
And, by the way, I would love to use OSX but when I try to install from the provided disk the installer simply spins - forever without completing the task. Am I doing something wrong here, too? :confused:

OK, I found out what the problem was. When I selected the Raw format on the camera menu I neglected to switch to "High" when shooting. Duh. Well, I still have to use OS 9, unless anyone can tell me why OSX FinePix won't complete the install process. Thanks.

If you open the read me file first you will note that there are some problems with the installer. Go to the fuji download site to get the latest version.

There is a problm with a self extracting archive which you have to open manually I believe when you are installing. I was lucky and didn't have a problem.

to install in OSX , just go to your Application folder , locate the Fuji finepix file and drag it to the expander in your utility folder .
That will install the Fuji software in OSX
