Focuses to 1.2 inches.
I pre-ordered but have been told by Nikon NZ" maybee Nov.21."
Ive asked "cant you just email them and reserve me serial #s with my lucky numbers" but get funny looks.
Meanwhile Im frothing at the mouth .....

does that lens work on an S2?

how about the other dx lenses? any problems w/ the S2pro?

the 12-24DX works GREAT on the S2Pro so I presume that it would.

I ordered one, but the price here is 899Euros, so thats an even grand US.
I was told I would get it next week. Keeping my fingers crossed for extra fast delivery.

WOW! It is an amazing lens. Not exactly light, but clearly is a glass lens. Can't wait to shoot it tomorrow. Seems to work fantastic with the SB80dx with the wide angle shade down. Nice spread. It is truely 180 degrees. Hard to believe.

Itchin' to use it in Thailand next month. Last time I was there I had a Kiev medium format with the 30mm full frame fisheye and took some fantastic images. You can check them on my website if you are interested. robert-peak.com
