Today's Outage

We've had a series of power outages and network outages in the past couple days. The last one left the server out of server for half the day before I could address the problem.

It is back up and hopefully the electric company has sorted out it's issues.

Sure they did.

On another note, I noticed the other day that we had 70 guests, mostly from just a few unique IP addresses. Can the server be overloaded by too many users?

There seems to be a lot more 'force majeure' about these days...

I can't help but wonder if there's a bit of Flash Gordan's Emperor Ming behind all of it :D
