This may be a good one for Linda to help out on since she works with the Frontier printer...

Anyone have any tips on pre-processing our images before sending them through a Frontier Printer to make 8x10 prints?

Should I resize to 8x10 or let the Frontier kinda do it? Sharpening? Anything? Should I set to CMYK or leave RGB? Should I set to 300DPI or leave at 72?

I'm looking at the images from the S2 and they seem to be more like 8x12 in size when looking at them in Photoshop. If I go Image>Resize and put in 8 for one of the inch settings, I end up with 11.995 for the other side. Should I crop and resize to 8x10?

How about color calibration?

They are 8x12 so your going to be missing 2 inches of the photograph. If you want to be specific which 2 inches are deleted, (top2, bottom2, some of the top and some of the bottom) you need to crop the pictures yourself.

I always do everything myself and then tell them I want absolutely NO enhancements.
