A friend of mine wants to sell his digital camera, as he's going to be in the hospital for a while. It's great: check out the quality: this is the last photo he took.

Everclear is a good choice. If it does get spilled, it evaporates fast, cleans the contacts on anything it touches and looks like a glass of ice water. Gotta watch the thirsty kids though.

I work in a pro lab! (digital dorkstress) But was hired for a forming company that dissolved faster than it could form with the burning of the dotcom companies....anyway;
They didn't really have a job for me but wanted me in a few months. I needed a job THEN. I worked all over the lab in those few months, but the first job I did was print on the main printer. They talked about how the person before me had managed to put in a negative, start the printing exposure with the computer and take a quick nap before it was done.
I was looking around one day (Only did this job for a week) and found a bottle of Everclear tucked down between the seams of the machine. !!! I figured THAT'S why she was able to take naps! Just wondered how she could wake back up!
Nah, nothing like that. The little squirt bottle I had to clean the glass and lenses was filled with...you guessed it...Everclear. cleans fast, evaporates faster than most things on earth and is economical!
I still chuckle when I see Everclear on the supplies list! It takes them a separate trip!

Uhm, did this photographers camera make it? Did they use a FujiS2 mini jaws of life to yank the CF?

I got the same email today and posted it as a thread(deleted now)but I don't want to see the photographers hospital records.
They must be a mile long and I'm not even thinking about the equipment.
Great shot or what, who made it? Does anyone know, I would love to have some details.

Well the DOF tells me he didn't try to use a telephoto from a distance to try to pull this off. Did blow out the background a bit though. Wonder if he's able to have another go at it! :D

If you don't start drinking by 9 am, you can't say you've been drinking all day! :)

Yes, very good. Gulp..... Run...
I saw a description of how this was taken in one of the Pro Mags.
It was taken at Pamplona in Spain with a remote triggered D1H/X - glad it was not my camera.
