I should NOT do this (Pre-advertise). Next week I'm going to Sebring International Raceway to shoot the 12 Hours of Sebring. This race is a lead- up to the 24 Hours of LeMans, in France. Sebring is a bumpy, tough track, so if a car can survive Sebring, finishing the 24 at Le Mans is a real possibility.

Audi is introducing it's new R15 10 cylinder turbo diesel. It will race only at Sebring, FL and Le Mans, FR. Through my lovely web site owner/manager, Maggy in Luxembourg, I have an invitation to shoot a presentation by Audi introducing this new car.

I have now successfully shot myself in the foot by announcing this. Anything I shoot will pale compared to the opportunity I was afforded.

Damn!

Good luck shooting things other than your foot.

Tom,

I'll try, but my foot seems to be one of my best subjects. Beyond my foot, Sebring is one of the worst race venues to shoot...there is always something in the background...RVs, campers, tire barriers and people. Road Atlanta and Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham are great.

BTW, for those who have followed the "Jason story", he is doing great. He's at Homestead, FL this w/e doing live interviews with drivers during the Grand Am race there. Then next week he will have the incredible fortune of being my roommate at Sebring! (As long as he can bring a couple of Pirelli Girls, he'll be welcome).

Thanks, Tony.

The Audi R15 is one of the main reasons I'm going. It will race only at Sebring and Le Mans, FR. I can afford Sebring much better than Le Mans, FR and I do want to get some shots of that car.
