What is the solution called and where did you acquire it. Hopefully the same place has the swabs?

Thanks!

Tim,
I know that Tallyn's has them, as I am sure would most other large camera dealers.

The fluid is methanol, I believe.

It's actually called 'ECLIPSE OPTICAL CLEANER FOR SENSOR SWABS'. You can find it at Tallyn's. You also need the sensor swabs themselves. They are expensive.

Hi all

I cleaned my sensor for the first time, had dust grasped to exactly, however I tested the following one, I arranged a painting compressor, that if it uses when reduced models are painted(cars, airplanes, etc...) and already with a filter inlaid in the pipe of the compressor, to prevent moistnesses, I made an adaptation with a peak of one pen(BIC style) extremely well clean and obtained to remove all the dirtiness of the sensor, really!

To always use the CCD directed toward low, not to allow that the dirtiness is in the place, but that it has left this. I make this work about 1 or 2 cm of the CCD.
