Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita has a couple of newbies. Two lion cubs were out Sunday to frolic with mom and dad. The first shot was of one cub strutting his stuff in color. On the second which is in Black and White, my camera was somehow on Manual and overexposed so I converted it to do away with some of the weird colors.

1st was with 70-200mm 2.8 VR, 2nd was with 300mm 2.8

The Sedgwick County Zoo is highly acclaimed as trying to replicate the surroundings of the home areas of the animals. At least, as much as possible. The lion exhibit is well attended and has areas which are glassed to allow as much interaction as is possible. We have a new gorilla exhibit and have and new tiger habitat and home soon to open.
