Hello.
I read a few threads on white balancing on so called "warmth cards" in other words cards that have a sligth color cast to add warmth or coolness to your images.
I am honestly too cheap to spend the $70 on these cards so my creativity brought me to the good old "Home Depot"
I was pleased to find all colors in postcard sizes and picked up 5 of the lightest blues, greens and yellows I could find.
I tried to white balance on the blues and gave it a few shots, worked just fine to me, I would like to recommend this "cheaper" alternative although I realize that it is not the "same as" it sure does work...
My theory is to white balance on the card of the color you would like to get out.
I will go back to get a few more cards from the extremes of the spectrum to see what effects it will bring to my images....
Although this can be done in PS later it is always fun to experiment, right?
Timo
