I had the urge to get out for a few minutes today and play with my new S2. I drove to the local airport (Raleigh Durham Intl) and shot a few planes. Since I haven't received any of my larger CF cards yet I was limited a bit. These were shot at the largest size, but stored with max jpeg compression. (Ugh) Nonetheless for a rush job I thought some came out pretty well for a first attempt.
Many were taken with a Nikkor 300mm/f4 ED IF and the rest were taken with a Nikkor 70-300 G zoom. I'm not too used to the weight and mass of that 300/f4 and it screwed up my panning!
It was fun for a few minutes anyway- sure was great to shoot a digicam with a buffer.
