I've been using a Novatron pack and heads for a while now, but they're really too powerful for me to do a lot of shots in the space I have, and with the fact that the D2x hits diffraction limits around f/11. Rather than trying to deal with ND filters I ended up with three SB-800's this week, and I'm really happy with the monolights. It's also nice to have rotating speed rings!
