Since this is the place to put tutorials, I thought I would put the reference to the above link in here. It covers other subjects, so the whole thread probably shouldn't be moved to this forum.
It is the long winded narration of how I did a magazine ad, from concept to completion. It includes a few tutorials on how I used Photoshop in various stages of the ad development.
It is not strickly a Photoshop tutorial, as it includes photo technique, so-called set construction, prop and wardrobe shopping, and client interaction.
The star of the whole show is Photoshop which made it possible to assemble the image, and the S2 which made it possible to do it all inside a week.
A question of copyright infringment was brought up. Well, nobody ever contacted me, the client, or the magazine with any complaint. I have been looking out for other ads that use the same idea, and have seen 2. One was a giant billboard in Chicago for some radio personalities. The monthly ad ran once as shown, and then once as a blue version.
