As a professional photographer, I was used to going to the photo lab daily or weekly to drop off and pick up 35mm and 4x5 film that my work required. It was a drag driving to and fro, making two trips for every job. It was quite a factor in the turn-around time on any job. There was always a certain amount of risk involved as well - would the film turn out? would the lab screw up? was the meter correct? is the film off-color? will I be in a car accident?
I HAVEN'T GONE TO THE PHOTO LAB IN 13 MONTHS!
If I were to calculate the time savings or money savings I would need a wider calculator!
I would like to express my sympathy to all the great photo labs out there that are suffering because of cameras like the S2.
