Help w/ OlymP400....

Ok...I bought a used P400 and am having some trouble w/ it. For one thing...does it print edge to edge??? I'm printing out the manual as I type, but I've tried to go through it several times and havent been able to get it to work right yet.

It keeps giving a USB error...

Oh well...any words of wisdom will be appreciated.

Hi Andi. The Olympus p-400 prints an 8 x 10, but it is not a true 8 x 10. It is more like a 7.5 x 9.5 from what I have read.

The new P-440 prints a true 8 x 10. I have one on order but they will not be available till 31 Oct.

I'm not sure what your problem could be with USB, unless the drivers are not the latest. Are you running Windows XP? I have a friend who has one and will ask him about it.

I hope you are able to get the printer going, as I have been told the prints are awesome. Does the P-400 have card slots for printing directly from media cards?

Thanks...It can do a good job, but I'm just not "thrilled" w/ it. I bought out a local photographer not doing studio or weddings anymore. (so I got it cheap)
