I just built a new pc with the intel quad core. I used the MSI motherboard (P965 Platinum) and put 2 gig of corsair memory on it. This thing is fast. I use it for video most the time but for CS it's even faster than the duel AMD I built last spring. So far I have had no issues with the quad core and it seems to be very stable. The model was the QX6700 and it's a 2.66 core. Well it's four 2.66 cores really. In the task manager when I render video it will show all four core running about 60%. They pull together great in programs that are written for the multiple cores like premiere and photoshop. I havent seen many things on building lately so I thought I would give all of you an update on the new CPUs. I also built a core duo for my daughter last week. That thing is snappy also. It's a video wedding this weekend so the quad core will have a new project next week. Have a good weekend all.
