Forum Maintenance - Power

Just an FYI that the forum will go down for 5-20 minutes Probably Friday some time.

I'm pulling new power for the server room, mechanical room and to prep for the new game room and theater.

The hard work was completed yesterday evening with the pulling of a new main line and installing a second breaker box into the server room/mechanical room.

Keep your eye here for any updates as I'm not sure if BJ will want to take advantage of this for doing health checks on the forum box and/or any other upgrades.

And no, there were no snakes under the house. :(

I'm happy to say that power has been cut over to the new circuit with no down time.

I now have a dedicated panel for my theater, server room and print room. Brand spanking new 80 amp circuit (3 phase 240v on 2 40 amp circuits). One phase is dedicated to the server and print room and the other phase is solely for the theater amps. Another existing 20 amp circuit will be used for the other equipement (projector, fans, DVD, HD PVR).

Now all I have to do is drywall the print room and server room and paint all the rooms.

I would say sorry for the inconvenience, but there wasn't any for the forum! :lol:
