Hi Gabriel17,
Download the software from the link I posted. You need to insert the original cd's in the cd drive and then run the installer you download. There should be a pdf with the download that tells you what to do. If you don't have the original disks then you're stuck.
The fuji.com site also has the updates.
Heres the link

If you are in OS X then you do need to insert the original disks. Just follow the instructions. I didn't have a problem installing the software both in 9 and X.
Let me know how you get on.
There is a read me file about installing saying that the installer may hang (stop) installing. I didn't have the problem but it requires you to leave the installer running and amend a file. All is explained in the read me file.

Hi Gabriel17,
You need the hs-s2 cd to instal the converter ex. The le version should have installed with the viewer. I can't remember if it is an option when you install the viewer.
I believe the le version is placed inside the finepix viewer folder.

Does that mean you can't convert RAW files on the MAC or do you have an LE version now for the MAC?

Nope....no raw converter for my MAC now...be it LE or EX :(

I would drop a line to fuji to see if there is an LE version. I am at work at the moment so don't know what I have got on my machine at home but I am almost convinced that when I loaded the new viewer it installed an LE version which I removed when I installed the EX version.
Can you install the viewer from the cd into X?

I installed the viewer from the cd, following instruction about installer script that hangs and managed to install it. I tried to install the ex converter which i downloaded but i keep getting the prompt to inserty the hs-s2 cd which i dun have it wasn't supplied with the camera in the asia region.

When you say you installed from the cd, did you start by double clicking on the downloaded installer? If you didn't then this might be where the problem lies.

If you downloaded the finepix viewer for OSX then you should be able to insert the original viewer cd and then double click the downloaded file and it will load from there, taking what it needs from the original cd. This might be where you are losing the Converter LE.

Hi Gabriel17,
I have just checked the download and unfortunately there isn't an LE converter.
There must have been one on the HS S2 cd which I purchased. This seems a bit daft to put an Le version and full version on the cd. The only way to use the LE is to boot into OS 9 and run it from there. Try contacting Fuji and see if they are going to bring out an le version.
Sorry about misleading you. Perhaps it would be worth getting the HS S2 cd if you intend to shoot in raw.

I dun normally shoot RAW...but i consider the converter a nice-to-have just incase I decides to shoot RAW in some occasions...
No problem about the misleading though...I intend to get in touch with fuji about this...
