The first image is a screengrab showing the full frame and the 800x600 selections that were cut out at 1:1.

Same selections were taken centre frame, and level at edges at L and R.
Then top corners L & R. No sharpening applied to the 1:1 selections.
No post processing of any kind.

All hand held with full aperture at F4 in P mode, so that
shutter speeeds varied from 1/40 -1/10th! tungsten WB.

I shot at eye level, trying to keep the lens level to the floor.
I was impressed by the centre to edge definition at full aperture, and the
total lack of any flare or blooming around the lights.
It has to be stated that the pictures on the walls at close inspection, were not overly sharp to begin with.

The remainder of the images are full frame reductions to 800x600 with some USM. but without color or levels adjustments.
The 2nd one was in extreme contrast conditions on P mode, hence the burn on the left wall, the middle of the frame was almost dark.

I am very impressed with the performance, and think it represents exceptional value.

Looks quite a good lens but seems that it suffers softness in dull light like most sigma lenses I have used. In strong light they are good.
