I have just aquired the following lenses:

AF-SVR 70-200 2.8

AF-S 17-35 2.8

I am looking to add a zoom or couple of fixed focal length lenses to complement the above

Does anyone have experience of the following lenses ?

Tamron SP 24-135 Aspherical 3.5-5.6

Nikon AF-SVR 24-120 3.5-5.6

Tamron XR 28-300 Aspherical 3.5-6.3

Or are there others i should take a look at ?

Hello dave and welcome to this forum, it's good to have some more company from this side of the pond.
About the lenses ,if you look under the lens test forum you 'll find some examples posted ,i've posted several for the nikon 24-120 VR lense.
I was born in Shirley, Southampton , came down last year to take some pics of the church mum and dad were married in. i think it's ST Bonniface r/c church in shirley. Yep came down for the day and spent most of it on traffic jams on the M25 and M27.

David,
I'd highly recommend the Nikon 24-120 VR lens.
It's very handy in most shooting situations when you have no time to "pu on the right lens", i.e. when you only have a couple of seconds to "point and shoot".

Thanks Sandman and Igor for your welcome and comments.

It would appear I may have to wait a while to try the Nikon lens all local stockists seem to be waiting for stock from Nikon.
