I know this may be a little off topic for this forum, but hopefully I can slide by.. I'm interested in knowing if anyone out there has any advice on a brand/model of studio strobes they use with their S2 Pro.

I am looking for a solution that can be setup in my studio most of the time, but able to be broken down and brought on location easily (I'm getting more and more requests to do weddings, and am getting tired of complaints about my "solid-state/always on" units I lug around today - funny the products I photograph never seem to complain). :)

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated..

We use White Lightning strobs and love them.

They are good people to work with and I have never had a problem with them. The strobes have a built-in slave tripper, so we fire tham with our SB80 on camera. We use two lights, main to camera right and fill on camera left. The main we set at f8 to f11 and the fill 1 to 1 1/2 stops lower. Meter for the total and set the S2 for that. The Brides gown might be hot so watch for blown details. We sometimes go from f8 on the guys to f9.5 on the ladies. The SB80 is set on manual at 1/16 power. Just enough power to trip the strobes. Check them out if you want, you wont be sorry.
