I've already warned everyone I work with that if the camera comes in on Monday they are going to have a hard time finding me.
I'll post some images as soon as I can. (is it monday yet?)

Well in just a few minutes it's already Friday and your one day closer!! :D

Now I must give you a shopping tip GET the OVERNIGHT shipping I hate to wait (I'm not patient, imagine me waiting over the weekend when you could have had it tomorrow?) Ritz does this it's where I got my D2x and you know they get the stuff out quick!! I was the first on here with it, I doubted it but boy they do come through!

I know let's see who could we call to have them change your shipping while in transit..........hmmmm...........now I have done this..........Saturday delivery.....hmmmmm.....I whine very well.........would you like any pointers??

Seriously I'm happy for you and hope the time passes quickly!

I'm sure several would love to see the images, thank you for doing that, we will wait (did I say patiently? uh they aren't patient! )

Hi, just picked up my x-mas present, D200 and battery is charging.. Feels and looks solid and should be a good companion for the D2X.. Hopefully will be able to shoot and play as soon as this rain on the snow stops. :D Well it will give a chance to read? the book. Will try to post something.. Warren

I would have paid for the overnite if I knew exactly when it would ship but they gave me 2nd day....which could put it in on Saturday...alas I had it shipped to my work address and there will be no one there unless I sit on the steps all day...hmmm. Since Warren now has his in hand...maybe he'll post a few samples.

Well are those steps cold?? I like that hmmm.....your thinking about it! :)

It will be here soon, the weekend will fly by Mondays always get here before we are ready for them :D

Drats they should have shipped just one day earlier! Oh well you'll still have yours before many others think positive they will be waiting even longer :( so your still lucky :)

Hi..Here are a couple taken this afternoon in the rain. Not worked just resized, they are Jpegs.. Haven't figured all the settings kind of working off the D2X.. ;) Really do like the feel and think it will be great when I don't want to lug the Big brother :D Warren

From what I have seen of puported D200 shots on the web (I trust them here, but who knows on some of those other forums), the DR, color and WB all look VERY good.

Is that your impression too Warren? Those shots show good WB and color (to my eyes). Not a real good DR test.

Thanx for sharing. :)

Hey, those look pretty clean! With the D2x, I can see the noise in almost every shot that is posted. This one, I don't see any (like my Canons :D ). Looks like the D200 is a winner so far!

Ok, the Canon comment was low. Sorry. :) But I'm sincere about the D200 images above looking good!

I am very interested in seeing shots from the New D200 as I have 2 of them on order, I was looking at the 2 shots posted here and when I checked the exif information to see what shutter speed,f-stop, etc is shows that they are from a D100 not a D200 and were taken in 2003. Is this correct? Or am I getting a incorrect reading on the embedded information?

Sorry guys Tont is right..When I loaded them I had problems with the program at home and mixed them up..I AM SORRY. Will post the correct bluejay shots :( when I get home as My Dad had emergency surg and I am out of state. Hopefully will be able to post the correct shots Tues but hopefully a couple of you others will also have some up, but the 200 does rock.. Warren :dunce:

Warren,

No problems, there was just confusion as the exif information made no sense to me. I hope your dad recovers quickly from the surgery and you have a safe trip home. I am looking forward to seeing your bluejay shots from the D200 so I will be checking back to this post from time to time.
