Tamron sp af 28-105 2.8 Lens

Hello -

I've searched here and over on dpreview.com, and have seen a few posts on this lens, but would like to hear more. Anyone using this lens on the S2? Any examples to share? The local store that I go to only had the Canon mount, so I couldn't try it personally. This thing is a beast.

I'm currently using the Nikon 28-105 and like this lens, but have heard that the Tamron is tack sharp.

I have been using the Tamron sp 28-105 with my s2 for a couple of weeks now. As you mentioned it is a good sized lens, but is worth the effort to carry. The range is great for general use and the lens seems to be very sharp, quick focusing, and relatively quiet. Glad I got mine.
