I am just back from my short trip to northern Italy.
I can recommend that area for landscape shots. Mountains, lakes, nature, everything you would expect.

These are wonderful... this is exactly the place my friend and I are looking for. We are looking for a good place to do some day trips to other parts of Italy... we are planning on staying in one place for a week, and take day drives to other places of interets... Tell me more about this place and how easy is it to reach other places to photograph. We are also interested in Tuscany and some hill towns...

no problem to tell you more about that area.

We were staying in Limone sul Garda at the northern part of lake Garda. Bozen (Bolzano ) is a one hour ride, Verona is also only 70 kilometers away. Venice is a 2 hour ride from there, Milano, Trente, Merano, Monzo, every city is in a 1.5 hour circle. You have old mediveal town in the hills around there, some hidden lakes, castles, just everything.
I have some friends here this evening, so I will add the other photos from my tour tomorrow. Here is a teaser from Lake Tenno, only 15 minutes from Lake Garda by car.
