Has anyone ever used it?

If so, how does it endure.
Anyone have a field report on this?
Thanks!

Yes, I use them when I shoot underwater but in general I use the MB16 battery pack.
I have to use CR123s when I have my S2 housed in my Ikelite housing as the mB16 would not fit.
Batteries do not last as long as standard Lithium CR123s but who cares, just recharge them.
I paid £10/$15 for each CR123 when I was in the Seychelles last year when scubadiving there and I ran out of CR123s. I took a spare set but that was not enough. That made me buy the rechargeable CR123s.

I know if you are using the onboard flash you need the C123 batteries, but if not, how else do these batteries affect the camera? I rarely even put them in - unless i am shooting a wedding and i want extra security that the camera isn't going to fail...otherwise i rely solely on the rechargeable AA's...
I have heard that the autofocus is slower without them, but I have never really noticed a difference - has anyone else?

Ok, read another thread and found some answers - quirky answers, but answers just the same.

If anyone wants to share their experiences with the battery issue still, please do... :)
