According to the Imaging Resource, Nikon USA have put out a service advisory for two Digital SLRs (The D70 and D2h). Nikon is offering complimentary service to correct the issue.
For additional information about this advisory, please call Nikon Service Relations toll-free at 800-645-6678.
It sure keeps my faith in Nikon again. I am wondering if Nikon Canada will do the same soon.

I had the problem with my D70. The camera simply becomes unstable. The camera turns on, the flash card indicator light blinks and nothing else works. A couple of days later, you pick up the camera and it works great for a day or two. Next thing you know, the camera goes back to an unresponsive status. It's frustrating because you begin to think it's your card that damages your camera when you see the blinking light when you insert the card. Then, you charge batteries after batteries with no good results.
I had much frustration with this issue. Nikon did repair the issue for free and I had my camera back in less than two weeks.

Havn't posted in a long while, but I do visit forum on a regular basis, hope it is here for long time to come.
Had a problem with my D2H, inconsistant metering, sent to Nikon, came back with a new PENTA-PRISM FPC UNIT, a cleaned CCD, and a full check over, cost £0.00.
Best wishes to all
