What continuous ink systems does everybody use with their Epson 2100/2200.

I am thinking of getting one now that my printer is working properly now but can't decide on what to go for.

Andrew,

I use the CIS from Fotospeed on my 2100 (Pigment Inks). It is excellent - easy installation and works perfectly. I have dealt with Fotospeed for a long time and get excellent service from them.

I tried the Lyson CIS using Fotonic dye inks - to cut a long story short the inks managed to clog the printer heads and I did manage to get a replacement machine (actually 3 printers after numerous failed and blocked printer heads). Without a relatively expensive printer profile the quality was poor - but never really found out as the printer kept getting clogged...

So have gone back to the epson ink carts - safe and gives predictable results.

Luckily the company who supplied the CIS were very good and gave me a full refund but I lost use of a good printer for 3 months and have ended up with a "reconditioned" printer of unknown pedigree and which is older than my original...

Anyone tried this one?

I'm interested in longevity and color-matching in particular.

Just an update,

I have now bought the Eco-flow system from Permajet for my 2100 and initial impressions are pretty good. A bit fiddly to fit but once on and running it is good. Print quality too looks good, just need to test a few different papers to see what gives the best result.
