has anyone out there used a 15' usb cord on the 2200? will it work with that long of a cord?

Hmmm not sure on the 2200, but 15' is supposed to be the max length for USB. It should be fine, reliable data transmission is taken into consideration at this length. There are extenders, but don't know if they work as advertised.
You having problems with that length?

I had problems when I went beyond 15', with an extender.

I'll give it a try at 15', and reprt back with the results

FWIW, I'm running an Epson R200, 2200 & 4000 - all on 15' USB - from a powered USB hub and haven't had a hiccup. I think that if you use a hub you should make sure that it's powered.
