Hey Racer
Hows your foot getting on?, the reason we Brits drink tea is because it's more cooling, plus i'm a driver, so beer in the daytimes a no -no. True a cold drink (beer cola ,pop) wil cool you straight away, tea will cool you for longer, if you have proper tea in southern cal, try it.

Never noticed the posts, sent in a wisecrack about my becoming a ''proper member'' . But now i'm a senior ? (feel very old suddenly). LOL.

Weather still boiling over here, good job i've got the week off. going to the little fishing village of RYE this morning to try my 24-120 VR lense ,and also shoot some pics in raw, to try the EX con out, i'll post one when i get back,(more boring townscapes)

Look after that foot, and

Happy shooting

Just as hot, if not hotter out here in California. Been hitting the 100's the past few days here. Yuk. We have this cartoon character in our paper that represents what the weather will be for the day. Here's the one they used the past few days - haven't got to today's yet.

And for Wayne - Hey! Another shot that's not a portrait/flower!

On sunday just a few miles west of here ,in a little town called Gravesend, (famous in the U.S.A as the burial place of an indian chiefs daughter called pocohuntas), the temp reached an all time high at 101 degrees, been in the high 90's all week , even last night i walked the dog at about 8.00, it was about 93, as you say.........YUK..
