Again, compared to the competition, I couldn't be happier with the images produced by the S2. Here's frame 10,062 a straight little head-shot portrait of a subadult male Anna's Hummingbird. The head is about 15mm tall. Flash from above with side reflector, Nikkor MF 300mm-f2.8, w/TC20EII 2X teleconverter, plus Kenko 48mm (36+12) extension tubes, f5.6 @ 1/180. Digital S2, Jpeg 4256x2848, cropped about 50%.

Any post processing besides cropping? Did you sharpen the image? Great shot!

The small 48k jpeg was sharpened slightly in PhotoShop to make it appear as the original did.

So how did you get the frame counter to go past 9,999?

I had 2,012 shots on it when it went in for repair. It came back at 0000. I then took 8,040 more exposures. I'll let you know when I reach the magic number.

Capt:
The frame counter just passed DSCF9999 and reverted back to DSCF0001. It created a new folder called "102". I'm now at 12,012 frames total. I wish I could overide the counter.
