I saw this thread about D2X focus problems (and how to solve it) and thought all you lucky D2X owners might be interested.

Mine arrives this weekend so i'll try this out , on and off to see if a later model has problems .
I've been watching the many problems people had with focusing on early ones on the fredmiranda forum.
It could have been simply user error or not reading the manual enough , but that seems to simplistic to me , too many really experianced photographers were having problems .

So you are also getting a DX2...! Congratulations!! I will wait for the price to drop a bit. Are you keeping your S3?

I intend to keep the S3 Jess i really love the high ISO shots i get out of it , so i'll keep that for interiors .
But after shooting the american football on sunday i realise i need something faster , the D70 was OK , but i've had a little windfall so i might as well enjoy it .
I'm selling the D70 and S2 if anyones interested .
Can't beat the Fuji for colour IMO so it stays for landscapes and anything that don't need a faster camera .
To be honest i can get one for under £3,000 over here now , but i don't think the price will drop too much over the next year , but best of luck .
