There's probably very little reason to use this mode given what can be accomplished in the most rudimentary image processing program, but I thought I would experiment with it anyway.
It looks like you have the option to accept or reject or accept each additional exposure or start another multi-exposure shot, but what seemed strange was sometimes I was getting "Read Error" on certain multi exposure shots in playback mode. I'm guessing I didn't close the file out properly, by pressing the right key to end the session. In any case, they could be deleted, it just didn't seem very robust.
Judging exposure for multi-exposure shots for film can be very difficult, and I was thinking this might provide me a way to experiment. Like I said, there isn't a huge reason to use this feature, as far as I can tell.
