I recently mounted my SB28 flash (which works perfectly directly mounted on the S2 pro) using Nikons SC-17 cord (TTL) and the flash wont fire even though evreything is connected? what gives? anyone use this setup?

I have the SB80DX connected to the SC-17 and it does fire when expected. If your cord works on other cameras then I would guess its the S2.

You are correct, I tested the cord with my N90s and fm2 and the flash wouldnt fire at all! i cant believe it , its a brand new cord i just purchsed from BH photo and it doesnt work! :confused:
