I have to agree with Tom Voegeli that that the thread in '''general discusions was getting out of hand (at least thats what i think he means).
I made a mistake in this post and put a reply in ,when it should have been a new thread ,so bear with me and i'll say it again slightly differently ,so you don't get bored.
I love this camera , i've tried over the years all sorts ,manual, poleriods, compacts, and then expensive SLR's, then onto digital, never ,and i mean never, have i been happier with a camera,i just wish it had been around some thirty years ago when i started ,
i realy envy young photographers now, just think of the leaps they will see in their art , just hope i'm around to see some of it
My passion if you can call it that , are townscapes, i read somewhere that a photograph is a ''snap of history'' never will you recreate that moment in time. So snap it you might never have another chance. And i've never enjoyed going out , like i do now and doing just that..snapping.
I'm not a commercial or professional photographer ,just a dedicated amateur, this camera has awakened my enthusiasm . so to wind up (thank god i can hear you all saying) i'm a very happy S2 user
