Does anybody know of a third party manufacturer who makes a CLEAR plastic cover for the LCD?

The one that comes with the S2 is too cloudy.

I agree....It is a pain to really see the pic through it. I find myself lifting the tab pretty often.

Hopefully someone knows of something.

You can purchase packs of screen protectors intended for use on PDA's such as Palm Pilot. They're about $16 per pack and have several in a package. I don't use them but have heard that you can cut them to fit the S2.

I use the little "Tupperware" plastic protector and have zero problems with it other than fear that I'll lose it.

Mike,

Are those like pieces of clear film that stick to the cover of the LCD (or palm pilot) or is it a rigid plastic? Any suggestions on where I could get them?

I think they're the thin pieces of film-like material that sort of stick to the glass. You can usually get them at places like CompUSA or Best Buy.

You can order LCD protectors from Tallyns.com
They are made by Hoodman. I use them on my S2.
