Yesterday I needed to clean my CCD so I got out the sensor swipe and pec-pads and Eclipse fluid and after 8 trys I got it down to just 2 spots of dust. Knowing that the next try might be 5 spots I quit there and put the camera away. This morning I need to take a shot and when I went to shoot, my focus just hunts back and forth. Does not change with different lens or how much contrast. I can try and focus on a newspaper headline from 24" away with my 60mm macro in broad daylight and it just hunts back and forth. I've reset everything re-installed the lense a dozen times, put fresh batteries in it. Nothing fixes the problem. I Think I broke it. The camera is about 3 months old from B&H. Where do I go from here?

Thanks a ton Linda! I haven't updated my website in a while though. I've been putting all my new work on OMP. Here is a link:

Well, just a few minutes ago FedEx dropped off my S3. Checked everything out and it seems to work perfect. I'm a little confused though. The paperwork says "Replaced camera body (M201) courtesy cleaned CCD, updated format Ver. 2.12." The frame numbers indicated that its a brand new camera and indeed it looks like it too. But the serial # is the same as the one I sent in. Do they put your old serial number on a new body?
