I purchased my S2 back in March and after tinkering whith it for a few days took on the challenge of being a back-up photographer for a good friends wedding. Knowing that a pro is there to handle the "serious" stuff, I was given the free reign so to speak so I just fired-away. I must've took 300 plus shots that day with the S2 happily chugging along on just one set of fresh batteries and lots of juice to spare long after the shoot. I can't believe the efficiency of the power management of this little beauty and the no-film convenience it brings.
In the end what counted most was the photographs. I delivered mine several days ahead of the pro who used film. and I was happily surprised that 60% of the pictures the couple used in their album came from my shot collection. It is a confidence booster that I decided to take on photogrpahy services as a sideline.
All made possible by the S2 and the welath of knowledge I've garnered form the forum
