Howdy group - I received my 12-24 on Tuesday of this week, I have to say I'm blown away by it. It's an absolute joy to use. Well, with one exception, that I'm hoping someone can shed some light on.
I've noticed that it will not clearly autofocus at 12mm, regardless of my CSM settings, (#7 & #8), or what I am focusing on. I know the user guide states that the lens may have focusing issues on small patterns and the like, but I seem to have the issue on anything I try.
What I've been doing is zooming to 24mm, auto-focusing, keeping the focus lock, then zooming back out to 12. I can't believe this is normal, but lacking experience I thought I would ask.
Any suggestions? I have a 28-105, 50, and an 80-400 with no issues.....
