Water Squirrel? WHO ME!

Just back from a couple of weeks away hence only the odd posting.
This is one of a family of squirrels which cause havoc with my almost tame birds on the patio. Taken through a double glazed patio window while it was waiting for me to go before it came down on the ground.
D2x 80-400VR @400mm, hand held, 200iso, 1/60 F5.6. Cloudy dull -duh- so no change there :rofl:

Andy I couldn't get that shot using the D2x and 70-200 at 200mm and 1/250! Haven't had a drink in over 16 years so no shakes there...come to think of it, maybe thats the problem! :cheers: Great capture too, love the pose and expression.

Tony, I've only taken 4,500 shots since I had the d2x a month ago ''te-he'', its still red hot & I luv it to bits, :goldcup: and it does what ''it says on the box'' but its the first camera that I've had to read the manual for and still have to refer to every day. :stupid:


Dave, on shivery days I find a monopod helps a lot

Serge, after I took the pic I clapped my hands & he fell off - he didn't jump & he wasn't pushed :rofl:

The only thing he dives into are my bird feeders, with his three argumentative brothers they can empty both feeders in 3 hours.
