I had read somewhere that Nikon plans on an upgrade for D70 owners to be able to upgrade to D70s levels such as larger viewing screen and such.
Anyone know if such a thing is going to be available?
Thanks,
Bruce

Larger viewing screen? I would doubt that this is possible or affordable. Firmware (on board software) updates sure, but a new screen would be a whole new back and new internals. Would be cheaper to just buy a D70s. On a side note, I saw a D70s the other day and the new screen does look good. As it is bigger, it also looks brighter. That and a remote release are attractive features to an already great package.

Apparently the firmware upgrade for D70 will provide some better menuing an dcontrols on the D70 so they match the D70s.
Unfortunately some of the new hardware items cannot be retro fitted.
